Introduction
The team at Skin Care at 5th Ave in Peachtree City, GA, is excited to offer Ultherapy®, which uses targeted ultrasound energy to safely lift and tighten skin on the neck, chin, brow, and décolletage for a more youthful appearance. With highly trained technicians who are passionate about rejuvenating patients’ appearances, we can help you turn back the clock without incisions or downtime. This treatment is recognized by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) as a safe, non-invasive way to boost collagen production and transform your appearance.
We provide Ultherapy not only for our patients at our home base in Peachtree City but all over the greater-Atlanta area including but not limited to Fayetteville and Newnan, GA.
Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy to non-surgically tighten and tone damaged skin. The treatment works by bypassing the surface of your skin to deliver ultrasound energy to the deeper, foundational layers. The focused beam of energy heats tissues at a subdermal level, triggering the natural healing responses of your body. This process stimulates the production of new, fresh collagen.
Ultherapy is an FDA-approved treatment that can help you achieve similar results to a facelift without the downtime. In addition, Ultherapy uses the regenerative responses of your body to gently and gradually lift the skin and restore a youthful appearance.
Ultherapy is completely non-invasive and does not require the use of needles, incisions, or toxins. In addition, it integrates ultrasound imaging, enabling our laser technicians to see the layers of tissue being treated to deliver more precise results. Because it uses focused ultrasound energy, it can reach deeper levels of skin than a laser skin treatment. However, since lasers and Ultherapy treat different types of skin tissue, they can be used in conjunction for more dramatic effects.
Candidates for Ultherapy typically have mild to moderate skin laxity, meaning their skin has begun to look and feel less firm. Some examples of skin laxity include:
Ultherapy can also be used to extend the effects of cosmetic surgery. Patients who have undergone a facelift or other surgical procedure may be able to enhance their results with an additional Ultherapy treatment. The best way to find out if you are a candidate for Ultherapy is to schedule an appointment at our office. we can discuss your cosmetic goals and examine your skin to recommend the best procedure for you.
First Step
The first step in getting Ultherapy in the greater Atlanta area is to contact Skin Care at 5th Ave and schedule your consultation. During this appointment, you will meet with either Dr. Galitzin or a certified member of our Aesthetic team and discuss your desires and goals from the treatment, as well as ask any questions you may have. You will be asked to briefly discuss your medical history to have the most successful treatment and recovery, and your skin will be evaluated. Once all of the information needed has been recorded, a treatment plan will be made just for you. If you agree with this plan, you can get your Ultherapy treatment performed right then and there or reschedule with our Patient Coordinator.
A typical Ultherapy treatment on the face and neck lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, while a chest treatment lasts about 30 minutes. During the procedure, one of our technicians will apply the Ultherapy device to the treatment areas. You will likely feel a warm sensation or tiny amounts of electrical energy while the ultrasound is being delivered. Comfort levels can vary depending on the individual.
Most patients see the initial effects immediately after the procedure. However, since Ultherapy relies on the natural regenerative process of your body, it typically takes two to three months for final results to become apparent. For most of our patients, one Ultherapy treatment is sufficient to achieve the results they desire. Depending on your natural aging process, you may benefit from additional touch-up treatments.
Ultherapy requires no downtime. Almost all patients return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. Directly after the procedure, your skin may appear flushed. However, the redness should disappear within a few hours. Some patients experience other minimal side effects, such as swelling, tingling, tenderness, bruising, or numbness. These are all temporary and should resolve quickly.
The cost of Ultherapy in the Atlanta area is dependent on multiple factors. After you have your consultation and we create your customized treatment plan, our Patient Coordinator will be able to provide you with a breakdown of the total price.
