What to Expect on the Day of Kybella
On the day of the treatment, you will enter a relaxing, cozy med spa where you will receive world-class personalized care from Dr. Galitzin and his staff. We start by applying a topical anesthetic to numb the area under the jaw, which helps ensure you’re completely relaxed. Once the skin is numbed, we inject the KYBELLA in the fat below your chin and any other pre-determined target areas. Each session takes about 15-20 minutes. An ice pack may be used to relieve swelling. Once the procedure is concluded, you may experience minor side effects like swelling, numbness, and bruising around the injection sites; this is normal and will subside in 24 to 48 hours.
